What is Classic Vintage Motorcycles Website
Classic Vintage Motorcycles is the only online dual (auction and classified ads website) of its kind dedicated to selling and buying of the good old iconic Classic and Vintage Motorcycles at a fraction of the price of eBay.
Classic Vintage Motorcycles is based in York United Kingdom, and the site is available for anyone in the world
I believe that Classic and Vintage Motorcycle owners should have a dedicated website where they can sell and buy in confidence and within a world wide geographical location hence the .com prefix at the end of our website name.
My aim and goals
- My aim is to be the biggest and best independent online auction and classified ads site for the iconic Classic and Vintage Motorcycles in the World within two years.
- To have the best honest and friendliest members both sellers and buyers who can help make Classic Vintage Motorcycles a respectable site for for all the members.
- We already believe that our site is the best designed site of this type for private users and dealers selling and buying needs as our site is packed full of advanced features for both and we will be constantly adding new feature over the coming months to improve and further enhance your user experience while using our site, see some of the features.
- To give our members the cheapest possible pricing stucture without braking the bank when selling your beloved Classic Vintage Motorcycles , this is why we have set our price structure so low and unlike other auction sites we do not charge any final value fees or commission at the end of a auction, you keep every penny made from the sale.
After been made redundant in April 2014 it was time for a career change, after all I am now over 50 and the employers of the United Kingdom seem to penalise you for hitting a half century for some reason. So after many weeks of thinking what I should do next I decided to setup my own website and put my rundancy money to good use.
Mad on the iconic Classic Motorcycles of the 70's and 80's
If like me you are now in your 50s then theres a good chance you would have had a Classic Motorcycle.
It's good to reminisce
So the weekend arrives and it's time to go out on your Fizzy FS1E with your mates and their bikes, some had Fizzy's, Fantic caballero's, garelli or Suzuki AP50's and it was time to race, yes come on lads we all did it, head down and laid across the tank. We would set of on our days out that could be anywhere in North Yorkshire and as far away as the lake district in Cumbria no matter what the weather was but still it was always a great day.
We would add the extras for looks, engine crash bars, rear rack and maybe different handle bars and all to just spend many more hours cleaning the chrome and engine with solvol autosol metal polish, and the tank and side panels with turtle wax for the perfect shine.
Then there's the pose, yes you guest it trying to pull the birds in biker cafe's or at the seaside, by doing wheelies and other things we all did but to no avail as the girls where more interested in motorbikes or scooters and not our poor little Yamaha FS1E's.
Now back to the serious stuff
There's a child in us all and for most of us we would just love to go back in time, hence our passion for the classic iconic motorcycles that we all use to ride back in the goog old days.
